Scrollavezza & Zanrè is among the most regular contributors to the historical and scientific research on Italian and foreign magazines, with some dozens of articles published for example on Archi Magazine and The Strad, including two cover appearances and some Strad posters.
The studies that have appeared in these publications feature a great variety of violin makers, including Girolamo and Nicolò Amati, Goffredo Cappa, Antonio Stradivari, Carlo Bergonzi, Giovanni Battista Guadagnini, Camillo Camilli, Tommaso Balestrieri and the Mantuan school, Giovanni Francesco Pressenda, Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume, Gaetano and Pietro Sgarabotto, Giuseppe Ornati, Ansaldo Poggi, Marino Capicchioni.
