Bailly, Paul

Born in Mirecourt in 1844, he apprenticed in his hometown with Jules Gaillard and then went to work in Paris for Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume. During the following period he traveled constantly, moving between Belgium, England and the United States. He finally returned to Paris in 1899, where he died in 1907, and overall had a very conspicuous production that gathered several prizes during his lifetime.
