Puccioni, Eligio

Born in Castelfiorentino in 1900, he was a student of the luthier Del Perugia in Florence. His work is rare but quite recognizable because of the influence exercised by other Florentine makers active in this period, primarily Valentino De Zorzi.

The model is elongated, with rounded and open C-bouts; the sound-holes are also long and positioned vertically; the peg-box has an extremely deep, open throat and a deeply carved volute.
