Bisiach, Carlo

Born in Milan in 1892, Carlo trained in his father's workshop. During the First World War he moved to Tuscany with Leandro Bisiach, who had been called as a curator of the collection of Count Chigi-Saracini in Siena. However, his son decided not to return to Milan and a few years later he opened an independent workshop in Florence, the city where he worked until his death in 1968.

Carlo's very refined and precise making follows his father's teaching and very often shows an important contribution from Igino Sderci, a luthier also active in Florence and who had trained in Bisiach's Milanese workshop.
