S&Z is a violin-making workshop founded in 2OO2 by Elisa Scrollavezza and Andrea Zanrè, after numerous years of experience as independent violin-makers and a preceding collaboration which has originated the birth of Liuteria Parmense.
The studio devotes itself principally to the making of new instruments, but it is also specialized in restoring and set-up of the sound of violins, violas and cellos. S&Z also attends to the aspects concerning dealing, expertise and insurance of old instruments. The shop also offers a vast choice of workshop instruments in various price ranges to accommodate the personal exigencies of each musician.
For several years the work was carried out at San Prospero, a location not far from Parma; now the studio is situated in the historical centre of the city, in the immediate neighbourhood of the Parma Conservatory and not far from the major Parma artistic and cultural attractions, such as the Teatro Regio and Piazza del Duomo. Located in the prestigious cornice of one of the most important buildings in Strada Farini, S&Z wish to offer the customer a comfortable but informal environment where every musician may easily find a solution to his necessities.
How catching up to us
